I have dark theme on basically everything possible regardless if it's day or night. Dark theme is just easier on the eyes regardless of the lighting. Granted I am unsure why this would extend to BSOD as I hardly see a reason why anyone would have issues with too much exposure to the blue screen unless they were really having a rough day.

I know black makes it more readable, but Blue at this point is more recognizable as "issue has happened!"
My PC displaying black with white text makes me think I'd just seeing some kinda BIOS related shiznaz.

Interesting points. 

I was just about to say I prefer the blue screen because it signals "something is wrong" far more strongly. There is no second guessing or that split second where you go "wait what is happening" if the entire screen turns blue. 

 

For support duty I guess this is a good change. Personally I prefer crash screens to be attention grabbing. It should be obvious when your system crash that something has gone wrong. A black screen just doesn't do that as clearly as a blue screen or some other color (red, green, yellow although that would be horrible, etc).

funny enough my "boot" color be it booting or shutting off, is exactly the same blue color (pretty much) so all that really signals to me is "theres a weird smiley on your screen, you're probably getting hacked!" 

 

 

Therefore bring back the black, with proper error messages this time. : P

 

 

ps: i really dont care much, but they should make it customizable that way it at least wouldnt be the same color as normal booting (i would make it pink for sure!)

More than color itself I'd appreciate if it was more informative. Usually if you had a good eye and you spotted the problematic driver being mentioned on it. But you had to then dig that info out through Event Viewer later. Or by searching whose driver it is. Would be nice if error screen (BSOD) displayed actual vendor name of the driver, maybe version and so on. So it's actually informative and not just annoying.

No you mean "none"? Logging on windows is shameful, and debugging anything on it is painful. The event viewer is a joke at best.
