My laptop has some wierd charging issues....

GTXstore

Hi!

I have an old Hp compaq 6735b laptop. It charged fine in many years, but now, whenever i plug in the charger, the fan starts going like crazy, up and down in rpm, and the pc charge SLOW. But when i bend the cable going into my laptop, the fan goes back to normal and the laptop starts to charge like normal. Is it something i could do, or do i have to buy a new charger/something else?

With Best Regards:

Sounds like the charging cable might be damaged, if you can identify where the cord is worn/damaged then you can try applying some electrical tape there, otherwise you'll have to get another charger.

Hope this information post was helpful  ?,
