Is corsair link accurate for temps?

There's no way this is correct right? I've been having issues running games my pc should easily be able to and they stutter constantly, if this is correct i might as well throw my CPU away right? It's at about 10% usage and sits around 95 degrees Celsius. Is there any way to verify that my sensors aren't just broken? I finally decided to check my temps and then I get this crazy high number which could totally be why my games aren't running properly right? this is very concerning and I hope it isn't true. Id like to find some way to possibly verify the temps aren't wrong.

GPU: RTX 3070
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700

Download something else that reports temperatures like HWiNFO64 or MSI Afterburner. If they report the same values then either

  1. Something is wrong with your cooling
  2. The sensor is borked

Saying that easy to run games stutter, my guess would be number 1.

What cooler do you have? What clockspeed is the CPU running at?

Oh I see you have Ryzen, so also try Ryzen Master. Not sure if it's still a thing, but there used to be a 20 C offset that only RM would factor in correctly.

try something else to measure temps? hwmonitor is pretty simple to use for example.

this hasnt been true for a long time, tried this once with hwinfo… exactly same temps, voltages etc (+/- 1%)

PS: also a 20C offset would mean my cpu idles at ~15C ...xD

i believe  this was only true around when Ryzen launched…

so this is weird, it says my package is fine but if you look towards the top it says my temps at some point still reach OVER 100C

Best step would be to figure out what TEMPIN6 and 8 are. My guess is they could be non-existing sensors and it's just a rogue reading, because there is nothing to read.
