Unplugged one of my rgb fans from the core box, now none of them have rgb.

I unplugged one of my single rgb fans from a seperate core box to see if it would reduce the overall noise level of my pc, as it's quite loud. It turned off the fan and reduced the noise level as I'd hoped, but I noticed that the reset button no longer changed the colours of the other fans (different core box.)

This was strange, so I plugged the single fan back into it's core box. Then I unplugged one of the three fans that were in the other fan hub and now none of the fans in my other fan hub have rgb. They all run fine, there just aren't any lights. I'm baffled as to what's happened as all I did was remove one of the fan cables. I've put everything back into the hubs yet I still have no rgb.

Any help would be appreciated!
