Data recovery from MDADM RAID 1

Hello,

I accidentally erased my files from my MDADM raid when I created a Docker container and mapped my raid but after that all files in the raid disappeared. The discs are not currently being written or read. I want to ask what is the way I can recover my files? Unfortunately I don't have a backup. Also I am open to any suggestions even to attach disks to Windows machine. This is my Docker compose config file which I used --> https://pastebin.com/PqwEkZ4G

My setup:

OS: Ubuntu server 20.04LTS

2xHDD 1TB in MDADM RAID1 + 1xSSD 500GB OS drive

FS type: ext4 not encrypted

Thanks in advance.

If the files were simply deleted then the fact it's a RAID is irrelevant, what is would be the filesystem that was used on it, you'd neet do look for a guide to recover files from whatever it was, ext4, zfs, btrfs, whatever...

For ext4 you can try extundelete or photorec.

I don't think just mounting the device inside of docker would have wiped it, here's a few things to try:

Is the md raid device mounted?

# df -h

look for /mnt/md0

If not:

# mount /mnt/md0

Is the device there?

# ls -la /dev/md

If not try to import it/scan:

# mdadm --assemble --scan

Then try to mount it:

# mount /mnt/md0
