Update was the mobo working great after replacement

Helping my brother with a computer problem. Yesterday it stopped sending out a video signal and today when I went over to help look at it, it stopped posting all together.

I took my system and tested his graphics card in my system and it worked tried booting his system with my power supply and it still wouldn’t boot. So graphics card and psu do not seem to be the problems.

only other real culprit I can think of is the motherboard. Any other thoughts? His system is all brand new aside from the graphics card (for obvious reasons).

5600x

16gb corsair ram

aorus b550 elite ax v2 motherboard

750w cooler master psu

msi 960 graphics card

m.2 ssd boot drive

everything stock no overclocking

Yeah I jumped the cmos too and still nothing.

sounds like dead Mobo if the display quit and then a no post then it might have gotten a static charge in the board

Yeah that’s where I’m leaning too. Just so new hard to imagine. It’s in a room with no carpet and little traffic so weird. But guess I’m going to have to get another one to test
