Do I have PCI bottleneck issue? Or else? [2 gpu + 2m drives]

ArturSadlos

My build:

Gigabyte TRX40 Designare rev 1.1

AMD Threadripper 3960X

2x 2080ti (no sli)

m2 drive connected directly to cpu

m2 drive connected to chipset

Hi!

Please help me find whats wrong with this setup. I have weird problems in Blender where gpu sometimes is missing. Other times it takes very long to load a scene where on my older build it was much faster. Despite upgrading parts I feel like mu 3d workflow is slower and glitchier 馃槥

Is there too much connected to PCIE lanes?

Should I put聽gpu on SLI? (Will this make lanes les busy?).聽

Put both m2 drives connected to cpu or chipset? (This motherboard has 4 m2 slots)

Thanks!

You shouldn't be out of pcie lanes in this case and the system automatically arranges it normally.

What are your other specs (cooler, case, ram, psu,...)?

Are you on a more recent bios? Threadripper 3000 launch bioses were kinda iffy.

You can always test if removing a card and or m.2 drive fixes the issue.

How are your idle AND load temps?

Ive updated bios just now.

How should I chec idle and load temps?
