I chose the 3rd option 3 years ago(for a family use PC) and have zero regrets. 250 GB has actually been more than enough space for storing Windows and every single one of my favorite applications and game launchers with plenty of space leftover that I like to use for games that highly benefit from SSD use such as 7 Days To Die for example. Having that game on the HDD takes a good minute and a half to load the first time so I put it on the SSD and it starts up in like 20 seconds iirc. I haven't noticed much other difference outside of that boot time in 7 Days To Die though but it's one benefit that I like about having it on the SSD.
