Solder on extra header to FireWire card?

I've got this PCIe FireWire card on the way, and I noticed something about it.

Here on the back as shown by this image:

You can see that it's got slots for a header. I assume it's for a front 1394 header that would hook up to a front FireWire port.

Is it possible to solder a header such as this to those openings and use it for a front header connection? I'd like to make my own with a FireWire and a USB-C port along with a 5.25" to 3.5" front bay adapter. There's a site that sells things like this that lets you make your own front-bay-mountable thing. I think @Jtalk4456 linked them somewhere, but I can't find it.

It always depend on the context which connector you can repurpose and USB-C for a PC is the wrong selection. Use some obscure nobody would assume is a standard connector or is well known like the D-SUB ones with additional warning lable.

No, I meant that I would have a FireWire port along with a Type-C port on the front bay mounted thing. The Type-C header will be provided by the motherboard.

Jtag is a diagnostics port. It could also be for a different variant of the card and this is just a subset to keep PCB manufacturing cheaper like how GPUs work

You can see that it's got slots for a header. I assume it's for a front 1394 header that would hook up to a front FireWire port.

Is it possible to solder a header such as this to those openings and use it for a front header connection? I'd like to make my own with a FireWire and a USB-C port along with a 5.25" to 3.5" front bay adapter. There's a site that sells things like this that lets you make your own front-bay-mountable thing. I think @Jtalk4456 linked them somewhere, but I can't find it.

I'm not finding a firewire and type c together on a panel, but I'm at work just doing a quick search, maybe you can find it. I usually search for  <connector> front panel/hub

this has the type C but no firewire, but you get the idea. You could also, depending on your use case (@TVwazhere rate my pun lol), use up 2 bays, one for a firewire connector and one for a usb-c connector
