Faulty Mainboard? 775 Socket

Hello,

I have a small problem.

When I start my PC it shows that no hard drive was detected. I just bought a new Crucial BX SSD because I thought that my old SSD was faulty.

What is the chance that the Mainboard is the problem?

Check your sata power and sata data connections, replace the sata data wire, swap to a different sata data port.

Do them in order and see if this fixes your issue

If not then here are some other things to try,

get a spray bottle put some 99% isopropyl alcohol in it, then spray all of the sata ports on the mobo and let it dry for 24 hours, dunk the socket with 99% isopropyl alcohol, cover it with a socket cover (a tissue or cpu will work fine) let it dry for 24 hours.

Again do them in order.

If still not fixed then just swap the mobo.

Edit : whoops double post, srry about that.
