First build (yet to order parts). Any tips in advance?

Those ones often don't use standard motherboard sizing so you can't swap them out.

Other details Current parts list: CPU-Ryzen 5 3600 GPU- EVGA 1660 super PSU- Gigabyte 750w 80+ gold rated MOBO- ASUS Rog Strix b550-f (with on board wifi) Case- Corsair carbide 175r SSD- intel 660p 1tb Ram- G.skill ripjaw v series 8x2 3200 CPU Cooler- Cooler master hyper 212 HDD- Seagate 1tb. Fans- 3x 120mm Artic fans

 

As for peripherals I'm looking at a Redragon k582, a Razer Viper, and a 24 inch 144hz dell monitor. 

I'm aiming at 1080p 144hz gameplay. Is there anything i should change to get the best bang for my buck at my price range. (Still waiting to snag a GPU at MSRP)

Buy a prebuilt and modify it to your liking cause most of the time thats cheaper than buying a gpu yourself, and theres nothing wrong with the 3600, the 5600x will outperform it but a used 3600 or even a new one is cheaper than the 5600x

I don't have this, the total with peripherals is 1400 give or take a few dollars. The pc its self is near 1180.
