Unable to change RAM speed

Hi. I changed my memory speed in bios to 3200mhz. But when i check in task manager, it only shows that i am running at 2133mhz. Is there solution to this?

Likely what happened is that 3200Mhz was not stable, and your motherboard reset the memory speed to default.

 

What are your full system specs?

Without knowing anything else about your system, it probably wasn't stable in POST and the BIOS reverted to stock. Select a slower speed and try again.

They should, I am not too familiar with older AMD stuff so I cant really say if those speeds are supported by the CPU or not.

both shud support 3200mhz, dosnt make sense if the ram is 3200mhz

consider upgrading mobo and cpu
