Is it okay for HDD to stand like this?

Hi, i have old IDE HDD, i'll test it with installing Windows 7 on it.

 

I have had to remove drive cage as the GPU wasn't fitting in the case.

 

As a result, case don't have any HDD cages. My main drive is on USB panel slot.

 

So, i've put the HDD like this:

Is it dangerous for HDD to stand like this? Thanks.

it is fine to mount a hdd upside down, though as long as its not at any angle, you should be fine

Is it sticking out of your case?
