Who has a 30 series GPU?

Darqsy

Just curious how many of us have landed a 30 series gpu, and whether or not you are happy with your purchase (whether it was msrp or not). Just curious as to what some of you guys would to have gotten from your 30 series card. :)

I have had a 3080 since september. Bought it from a scalper for 900€ back then. It felt bad at first but seeing how the market has developed since then i'm more than happy i did it. Now i would pay upwards of 2000€ for the same GPU if i were to buy one.

There are a lot of 30 series GPUs out there. But demand is still worlds higher than supply.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I got a Asus GeForce RTX 3070 TUF Gaming OC in february. I bought it from a legit online store in Norway for about 17% above the (norwegian) launch price.

I just checked at random and they had got around 30 in stock. Minutes after I had put in my order they were gone.

I'm very happy with it. It performs really well and are al lot more stable than the Vega 64 I replaced

Got a 3070 from a retailer some months ago. Price was... comparable to a launch 3080 AIB model. Since then I also got a laptop with 3070 in it.

Also be careful about interpreting any polls. I've tried to run some in the past. They will be limited by who gets to see it so if you're looking for absolute numbers, they will never give you that. Might be ok if you're looking for relative numbers e.g. between different models.

Main system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 3x 16GB 2R, RTX 3070, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, Acer Predator XB241YU 24" 1440p 144Hz G-Sync + HP LP2475w 24" 1200p 60Hz wide gamut
Gaming laptop: Lenovo Legion 5, 5800H, RTX 3070, Kingston DDR4 3200C22 2x16GB 2Rx8, Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB + Crucial P1 1TB SSD, 165 Hz IPS 1080p G-Sync Compatible

I have 3080 since around October, got it at MSRP but my country MSRP is just slightly less than a grand anyway - not the best deal at the time but looking back, I couldn't be happier

I had two 3060s, two 3070, one 3080, and all resold in the last two months

I wasn't really following the market, If I had known before, I would have made more money lol

I landed a 3060 Ti on launch day at Micro Center. Stood in a very long line on a whim, and was the second to last person to get a card. They ran out right after the guy behind me. In other words, pure, dumb luck. It's a partner card, so I paid $500 for it, instead of the MSRP of $400 for the FE, but not bad at all, all things considered.

It's a great card. I think I would have preferred a 3070, but the 3060 Ti meets my needs for the most part.

I have 2 RTX 3060s, 1 RTX 3060 Ti, 2 RTX 3070s, and an RTX 3070 Ti. All for MSRP. 3060s are nice little things if you can get them for $400. 60 Ti is goated, 70 is meh. 70 Ti goes in my actual build, don't need the mining perf. as its just for gaming.
