DDR2 memory for old laptop?

Hi. I've opened up recently my old that's old as heck and I saw it has two 2 DDR2 800mhz DIMMs (each 2GB). I've been thinking of upgrading for it to last a couple more years before buying something decent. I've done some research and I'm not sure if there are any individual DDR2 laptop DIMMs over 2GB some list specifically to AMD or Intel (mine's an Intel Core 2 Duo T660). Nowadays I know there's no difference but when it comes to DDR2... it's too old for me to know.

 

So:

-Are there any individual DDR2 DIMMs over 2GB? Of course, in the laptop form-factor

-Does DDR2 have cross-platform compatibly issues?

You can definitely buy 4GB DDR2 sticks but they are uncommon and extremely overpriced. Imo it's never worth it.

Look on eBay. 

They exist, but you can get a 32gb kit of ddr4 4 for the price

For most normal uses DDR2 DIMMs (full sized and SO-DIMM) maxed out at 2GB each. 4GB sticks are a thing, but they're stupidly expensive and not even guaranteed to work. I wouldn't put the money into 4GB DDR2 sticks, and I'm someone who still actively uses DDR2 systems.
