You got it on bare metal?

Did you have any compatibility issues?

I can't get it to install, it says my device doesn't meet the requirements.

People getting it in a VM isn't new any more, I've had it in a VM for about a day now, would've been longer if I could install it on bare metal, I tried 2 systems, no luck.

The Pringles background is the best. (Did you get it activated? I had to use a script to use a generic key)

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Am I the only one in the room who doesn't have great expectations of what Windows 11 will be?聽

There hasn't been an MS feature update that's gotten me excited since going from 98 to聽2000. In fact, if I could still use 2000, I would.聽

Windows 10 is a design disaster in my opinion. Not only is the UI in the middle of an identity crisis, but the basic legibility of many elements is extremely sad. I hate Apple as a brand to its core, but Microsoft can learn a thing or two from Apple when it comes to basic shit like that.聽

No, did that work for you?

I'm not gonna use it as my main os, just keep it on a second drive, so I'll have to install 10, then upgrade.

Yep, just mount the ISO and install, it even automagically took my 10 key and activated.

Quite honestly its fine to run as a main OS since under the hood its still 10, they only changed the UI design and theme. Literally everything I've thrown at it works just like on 10, all my drivers remained in place and worked post upgrade, all my installed apps work, WiFi, Bluetooth, everything.

Wonder if you will get updates or be stuck on the iso version.聽

Meh, I specifically installed it on my laptop since I only use that for web browsing, youtube, email and light emulation. If I have to wipe then I have to wipe but since I enrolled in the Insider program I guess that on June 24th I'll get the latest build through Windows update.

Just played with it, not impressed and with the CPU and RAM usage thru the roof with nothing going on... makes me wonder.

Won't be delving into it anymore.
