What cooler with 5800x + AORUS 3070 + B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 ?

Budget (including currency): 2000$

Country:  Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: From light to AAA games and small rendering.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I’ll play on a 3440x1440 144hz freesync monitor at maximum resolution/fps

This is the list of component I was going for :

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: Team Vulcan Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
GPU: GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 MASTER

PSU: SeaSonic FOCUS Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

COOLER: NO CLUES please help !!

I already have :

Storage: Intel 660p series 2TB M.2 NVME

Case: Corsair 100R ATX

I'd get the whole package for less than 2100$ (CAD).

I'd really like some feedback on how you think this would fair.

Thanks everyone !

Yeah, good setup.  3070 and 5600X is good for 1440p UW.

If 3600MHz RAM isn't much more expensive, look into that.  RYzen likes faster RAM up to 3733MHz I think.

No idea on that motherboard or PSU tho.

Aside from the "market price" of the graphics card, I offer this list with a cpl.changes 'for the better'.

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

The PSU is part of a bundle with the 3070 so I could not change it without changing the bundle.
Otherwise, would upgrading for the :

Team Vulcan Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory

really make a difference ?

Is it linkable...?  It could be a way for a retailer to "get shot" of some slower moving stock.

BE WARY of "get out clauses" that may make the deal a bad one, if what they "want you to buy" becomes unavailable... and NEVER pay up front.

Thanks, and yeah I tried to go through with the paiement but it appears that the stock info for a bundle is not valid...

Just to be sure, you want a url to the bundle ?

If not, I did not understand haha

That link returned a 404 error... *sceptical mode - engaged".

EDIT:

May be a regional exclusion...

Hey @Eighjan!
Yea it is possible because it is definitly a proper good pc seller haha.

On a side note, I called and was informed that some component were missing from the bundle so the bundle was unavailable.
Ill do an edit of my build with only available stuff, I'd like your feedback on it !
