Looking for Motherboard and any possible changes to my list

Budget (including currency): 170ish US Dollars for the Mobo

If you're getting a non-K processor, any motherboard will work just fine.

 

Your CPU isn't super high-powered, so you don't need excessive power delivery or anything.  So you're good to go basically anywhere you want.

The B560M-A from Asus has a VRM heat sink

It's an inexpensive option, but if you wanted a more premium Option you should check the Hardware unboxed lineup of several mid range/high end B560 motherboards

HWunboxed showed in their data that even a 6 core i5 can be handicapped by a really cheap board with a bad VRM, and that some budget B560 motherboards were holding back the processor noticably.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Dual Xeon X5560 - 24GB ECC DDR3 - GTX 750 TI - old Seagate 1.5TB HDD - Dark moded Ubuntu (and Win7, cuz why not)

 

How many watts do I need? Seasonic Focus threadUserbenchmark (Et al.) is trash explained, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
