you do know the windows 10 downloader lets you put it right in to the flash drive?

I have to download again for doing that. I don't have unlimited internet so I downloaded the iso file.

I've been using Etcher for a while now with a very high success rate. https://www.balena.io/etcher/

Etcher told me to use rufus. BTW do I have to format whole harddisk or just 1 partition if I want to swith to uefi mode?

The source of the error is in the log file. fmifs.dll

https://www.win7dll.info/fmifs_dll.html

It's a bug in Rufus or in the file itself. Basically a Rufus and Win7 32bit compatibility issue.

I resolved it by installing older version, Rufus 3.13p
