Sometimes thunderbolt ports will have a small lightning bolt symbol near them.

 

If not, then check the user manual of your system. That will tell you for certain.

How do I differentiate between a type c port on my laptop and a thunderbolt port like I see a type c port on my laptop but I want to know if it's a thunderbolt port
