Can you use a input only port, to convert into a output hdmi?

I have an useless HP all in one pc and I've been thinking to use it as a secondary monitor. The only issue is that the monitor cant output a video. is there an adapter I can buy to make the input to an output?

No. It doesn't work that way. The device needs to either have a pass-thru mode, or needs a capture card to do that, and even then, you still need the device to work.

It's not worth the energy expense to use it that way.
