When I use my browser, mainly Chrome and Edge, my screen sometimes flickers. Like the backlight just turns off for a second. This has been happening since I installed an RTX 2060 (old GPU was a 5500 XT). I've DDU'd the AMD card so that's not the issue. Also when I have Discord open in the background it says 'New audio device detected. Discord has detected a new audio output device named 24G2WG3- (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)! Do you want to switch to it?'聽

i5-10400F

Palit Dual RTX 2060

HyperX Fury RGB 2x8 3200 (clocked to 13-14-14-28, issue is still there when setting it to original timings)

ASRock B460M Pro4

Windows 10 Pro 21H1, latest drivers

AOC C24G2 (165hz curved model)

The HDMI out has its own 'soundcard' to be able to output sound over HDMI.

What type of cable are you using? And how is it routed? Are you able to change it?

Found that flashes of black screen usually come from shitty cheap cables.

Cheap isnt the problem part tho. 馃槃 There are ok cheap cables.

(edit ps. thought it was about HDMI cable, but i think same goes for DP cable)

The problem is probably聽between the display and the GPU.

Do you use a HDMI switch?,Did you try a different cable?

I use a displayport cable, no switch or anything. I've always had a black screen for ages when booting my PC, even before the GPU upgrade, and with HDMI that issue isn't there. So I think the cable is faulty. Will try with HDMI, but it doesn't support my full refresh rate.
