Looking for a budget graphics card

Jerri

I've got a dell optiplex and with a quad-core 3.5Ghz cup that is fine for my likings, but I'm not sure what card to get for it so I can run some basic games. All I do on my computer is play games like Minecraft, and I'll occasionally stream it at 720p 60fps. I've been streaming and playing off of a Acer Swift 3 laptop with a Ryzen 7 4700u with integrated graphics and at this point I just want something that can get me higher frames around 100 to 150fps in Minecraft (1080p) and at least 60fps with low settings at 1080p in fairly other games like to play R6. My budget is around $150 and possibly stretching to $200. I know that graphics card prices are incredibly inflated right now but what cards should I look for and eventually buy if i can find it in my budget?

note: shaders in mc would be nice but not necessary

With that budget and the current GPU prices best you can do is

RX 560 (200$)

GTX 1050 (~220$)

Which is absolutely insane considering that a friend of mine bought GTX 1070 for 190$ roughly a year ago and the card came with 1 year warranty...

PS you can also get 1 year warranty for 15-20$ extra on the newegg refurbished cards linked above. I know that is over your budget slightly but I would seriously consider it since we are talking about used goods and GPU prices could remain inflated well into 2022.

tbh right now there aren't really any "budget"gpu's. From what I've seen the prices have gone wayyy up. I got my gtx 1050 like 1 or 2 years ago for $150  while the ti versions were around 200 but now the ti versions are like $300+. If you need to get a gpu  right now, I would consider getting one from B&H. I bought some previous ones from there for much less than on Amazon
