EDIT ; as pointed out by @GoldenLag, the 450BR is also $35 CAD at memexpress and is a much better unit than this W1. Get the 450BR instead of the 500w W1 !

I've never used that site so I don't know how to check. Plus there's got to be some kind of catch on this, this is easily a historical low price. At least in the past couple years of inflation going on.

Agreed. Not that bad. And has it's place. One of the best ways to describe the unit imo.

 

I like the 450BR for budget builds that aren't looking to have much overclocking going on and not much power coming from the CPU/GPU of the build. It has just a 3 year warranty but as long as you keep the watts in check, you can expect much more years out of it.

 

I like the 500W 80+ White unit to replace really low power PSUs in older builds that you're looking to throw in a low powered GPU into or simply as a replacement PSU in general for pre-builts with literally garbage PSUs in them that aren't even 80+ rated period.

 

It really boils down to what you plan to do with the PC and just how well you're planning to keep everything in check. Thermals and clock speeds especially. I'm a huge fan of low year warranty PSU's because of this particular meticulousness.

I dunno, imo, you're currently looking at one of em'. I'd go with this PSU in a 2200G build without a GPU for a family member in a heartbeat. Done so 3 times already ;).

 

They still use the same PC everyday to play their casino and PopCap games.

No free shipping. You can do store pickup if you're near one.

 

To see the shipping cost you need to start the checkout.

 

And no, there are no catch, it's limited to 1 per account, but I can confirm it's the price in at checkout, no mail-in-rebate bs.

... It's probably not going to do that. Yeah don't hook your RTX 3090 bitcoin farm up to it, but it has its place...  I'm not going to buy a TXM gold like the elitists here would have me do to hook it up to my haswell i3 iGPU htpc lmao
