Apple MacbookPro 16 - strange discoloration on the screen

HI, I noticed white spots on my MacbookPro 16 screen.
They look like that:

Can you tell me what they actually are ?

Should I be concerned that the layers of the screen are peeling off ?

The store refuses to replace the entire device, they only want to replace the screen. ..

Thanks.

Either pressure in the screen which is common, or a stuck pixel which is less common and usually has more discoloration.

Given the slightly dark spots in various angles, I am leaning towards pressure in the panel caused by possible mishandling.

I don't see anything that suggests the layers in the panel are peeling apart, in fact they are usually loose held together by a frame surrounding the panel. For them to come apart you would need to apply quite a bit of force around the edges of the screen causing obvious damage to the panel housing and probably cracking the display. All I see in that photo is light reflection in the panel that your camera happened to capture, possibly due to the angle or being so up-close.

Only the screen is damaged, so only the screen needs replaced. Replacing or repairing just the screen itself would be an appropriate action.

Camera didn't capture it very well, in real they are more pronounced.

Someone would need to open up the display to fully determine the issue, but typically it's usually caused by uneven pressure in the Panel. Usually caused by a user during use, storage, or transportation.

Are you able to write something more?
What is the specificity of the problem, pressure issue is a production line problem and incorrect assembly?
My equipment is 7 months old, I have not seen these white stains before, they appeared suddenly.

The equipment was not moved anywhere, it stood in one place most of the time ..

It means something applied enough pressure to the screen to damage part of the filter or underlying display technology, such as a liquid crystal display being placed under enough pressure to lose there solid or liquid properties. The details as to what can be damaged depend on the type of panel, but the damage is all caused in the same manner and most of the time not repairable.

It could be caused in production or shipping, but it would of been there since Day 1. It's not something that would happen over time due to a defect.

Thanks Nayr438.

Probably screen defect was from the moment I bought the laptop, I just didn't notice it.

I wonder if such a defect may increase with time..

No, that’s not what they’re saying. Someone sat on that laptop, leaned on it, put something heavy on top, etc. What you’re showing us is almost certainly user caused damage. Those pressure spots are a super common result of that.

Let the store replace the screen and be done with it.

Impossible, laptop stays in one place all the time, no one sat on it, no one threw it out the window ..
White stains appeared out of nowhere, suddenly, I haven't seen them before ..
Hopefully this is not another production related screen defect the same as the butterfly keyboard ..

Apple has recently been getting us used to production failures ...
