Best way of securely sharing text/clipboard between PCs and Android?

So, im getting fed up with doing random shit to send text (usually links, usernames, emails, etc.) To myself from my phone to laptop and the other way around. Does anyone know of something that ideally will make is super simple to copy things back and forth. I really dont want to use microsoft's your phone thing.

 

Ideally i would be able to select text on my phone and hit share and be able to send it to a device's (or all devices') clipboard(s). And similarly with windows i want to either have a key combo or be able to right click selected text and say send to x device.

 

Ive tried Alt-C and this works great for sending from windows to android but not the other way because of Android 10's restrictions on apps reading the clipboard (only when they are in the foreground).

 

Chrome (and vivaldi) have support for sending tabs to devices and this works mostly but i need something that does more than just tabs.

 

Any ideas?

I used to use Pushbullet before I switched to iOS, although since it's in the cloud I'm not sure it falls under secure

I looked into Pushbullet but I refuse to pay a recurring subscription just to see if it does what I want.

isn't there some wifi quick share option, maybe it's just for phones?

Else there might be something like *cough* onedrive or other services like that, like cloud storage or shared storage.

I know some browser accounts can share files? But if just wanting to copy from one unit to the next, that might be not the way to go.

I downloaded Airdroid to test but it doesn't look like it can sync your clipboard, it seems to only allow you to access files, notifications, etc.

All of these would work for files but that's not what I'm looking for. I use Reselio Sync to sync pictures and music to and from my phone. I need some way of quickly sending text back and forth. I might be able to make a psuedo clipboard by making something with Macrodroid/batch scripts to turn a txt file into a 'clipboard' that is synced between devices.

I know someone who creates a web app that does this sort of thing.

but not released. there are some others out there, using accounts some through google since google's systems.

Not sure what that would be called though.
