Hello everyone!

This is my first time building a pc and I wanted to make sure my build looks good before buying any parts. I used pc part picker and thought it would be good to get input on my current build if I am missing anything, remove/replace parts. Already have mouse/keyboard/monitor.

about 3600/5600x, did you mean the amd cpu?

I also dont see a cpu cooler, won't I need one?

I also found this gpu. would this be good (at least till the shortage ends)

No, you won't be needing a cooler as a stock cooler comes with the 11400 and would be sufficient for it.

The stock Intel cooler is terrible. He will definitely want an aftermarket one. Something like an Arctic Freezer 34 shouldn't be that much.

While gaming it handles it well enough though. I may be wrong, but I use the stock cooler with an i5-9400f. While gaming it goes up to 79C (I have a terrible thermal compound too. Conductivity of 1.93 W/m-K) in worst case scenarios. But I also have a very high ambient temperature of 37C - 39C when it happens. So I guess, it should be fine.

If you want to get the most out of the cpu by removing the power limits then you are going to want a better cooler. The stock cooler isn't going to do well handling 150W+ TDP.
