2 1060s or a 2070

Go to solution Solved by WhitetailAni,

NVidia does not support SLI with the 1060, and SLI is not supported by most games, so no, you should not buy another 1060.

Don't buy a card right now though. Prices are really high.

i currently have a 1060 founders edition graphics card and was wondering if i should buy another 1060 to run alongside it or if i should buy a 2070/2080?

SLI is well and truly dead at this point for games, I can't say I really see a point in it (and that's ignoring that the 1060 doesn't even support it). If you can sell off your 1060 and get a 2070 at a reasonable price, that's the route I'd take. Otherwise just suck it up and put up with it until The Great Drought Of Reasonably Priced Garbage™️ is over

In what? CUDA Accelerated apps that can run multiple cards? Games? Either way its a bad deal imo, you better off getting a 3060Ti when theyre back to normal price by scalping that 1060 out there right now.
