Do you prefer DuckDuckGo over Google search?

I've noticed that most advanced users prefer DuckDuckGo because it doesn't employ machine learning to learn from your search history, making it ideal for research and general use.

Never tried it... been using Chrome for years & perfectly happy with what it finds for me.

Prior to that I've variously used anything from IE4 to Firefox...

General use? I want the machine learning for general use.

 

For research I'm too lazy to install something else, I just go into incognito for every Google search, normal Google for websites.

I could use some help with this!

Google knows enough about me already. I have no problem using their products because of it.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I use it but DDG is not so good when it comes to searches in my native language so unfortunately i have to use google from time to time.

Real haxxors use searx though

 

I use yandex for images
It seems to work even better than google which was unexpected

Yes. I love DuckDuckGo. I use it for almost everything on all my devices. Sometimes it isn't acclimatised to my horrendous spelling but then neither is Google mostly.
