Dead Pixel but i can somehow screenshot it?

I noticed a "dead pixel" on my monitor but somehow i am able to screenshot it? which means it's not dead but rather a software problem right? Has anyone ever experienced this and is it possible to fix?

Update: It went away after i restarted my computer. Still weird tho

Kind of strange indeed. It also could be caused by the GPU, it's not always the monitor. Or some kind of software could glitch, even though that's kind of rare.

It's a tiny 1x1 window, notice the shadow underneath it. Some programs are reported to behave like this such as Steam or certain installers.
