I can't believe how badly it has crashed. I was only introduced to mining around March this year and managed to get 3 cards which I believed to be decent. At first it was all good and balance was going up nicely but a few weeks ago my balance was going down even with 3 cards working their socks off. Barely covered the energy cost.

This is basically why the first time you'll lose money. I was "lucky" that I got in last year, but if like you you only noticed around March and got in at that moment you were basically too late already. Not that anyone could have predicted a crash or continueing of the bull market, but generally you'll lose or just break even if you enter at or near the high.

Now it becomes hoping whichever coins you're invested in stick around and will come up at some point again. That's when the money will be made.

600 CNY seems fine for a 1030, don't use US MSRP price when looking up tech, it's very rare you'll see prices that match US MSRP prices outside of the US.

Well we don't think $800 for a 3060 is reasonable either when that was supposed to be the MSRP of a 3080, but that's what we have to deal with at the moment unfortunately.

Even 4k CNY is expensive, but you guys have huge taxes on this type of stuff, your only chance for reasonable pricing is getting it from HK, at least that's how it was when I was living in Shanghai...
