How to reset windows after dual booting and computer automatically booting into grub

lolmathie

So basically I dual booted on my pc and installed ubuntu while my main os was windows but now that I thought about it, when you reset windows, it restarts the fucking pc!

How the hell can I reset windows when my pc automatically boots into grub?!?!?

Help would be very cool.

You can change your boot order in the BIOS.

Mash "Delete" while your computer starts up.

It's not delete for my computer cuz it's different sometimes but ik how to get into the bios. It's the asus rog bios so if you could find a youtube tutorial on how to do this that would be cool.

Do you know the exact model of your motherboard?

There are MANY ASUS ROG BIOSes. They've used the ROG moniker for a long time - the earliest I've heard is the ROG Commando (an LGA775 board).

You should be able to use Delete.
If that doesn't work, try F2. Those are the two keys that ASUS tells me to hit.

If you installed grub to the same drive as Windows there's nothing you'll do in the BIOS to change boot.

But when you reset windows, if you select windows at the grub prompt it should most likely still work. If not you can try to change grub's default to Windows.
