Need help on replacing a fan for my GPU

Hey, so one of my first posts so hope you bear with me.

I'm running a "Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB G1 GAMING" and one of its fans has decided to grant me its siren song. It's not hitting against anything but i hear a constant grinding kind of sound when it runs, it also can't spin up to max speed so is very slow. I've not seen that great of an impact on my temperatures, even did a thermal paste replacement since that had turned solid. nevertheless its a pain to listen to the fan, so i wanted to replace it.

I'm struggling to find any place i can buy a replacement fan however, and i was wondering if some people here, more tech-shop fantastic than me could help point me in the right direction.

I'd greatly appreciate it.

Essentially the same fans without a gigabyte sticker.

  • 2 weeks later...

You live and you learn i guess.

So i got the fan but I originally forgot to check what connector the fan pin head was. Well its male and the connector on the gpu is as well, seems like its not a problem when you buy the full set of 3 fans since you get a cable but in my case where only one of my fans was broken, No deal.
