Looking for a new Monitor - with speakers!

The-Technician34

Hi everyone, I've never had a great monitor and it's time for an upgrade!
Monitors are probably the areas I know the least about so I'm looking for some advice. Ideally I'm looking for something around 24-27 inches, height adjustable, probably 1440p, and freesync would be nice.

I'm a music producer and have big speakers for doing real work and use some ok-ish 10-15 watt Logitech speakers for YouTube videos, podcasts etc. They have enough bass to sound good enough. Ideally I'd like to get rid of the small Logitech speakers and integrate them in to the monitor, but the one's I've seen are 2watty, which I don't think will be enough. The main reason for this is to get rid of cables and tidy up my desk area.

I'm from the UK and not looking to spend crazy amounts, as gaming is usually done on the Xbox, the PC is mainly for office use with light gaming.

Is this a possibility? are their any monitors with ok-ish speakers?

Skip the monitor speakers. There have been a handful of flat screens with decent speakers in the past decade and that is it. They are in 99.99% of the cases a cheap afterthought only put in so they can put it on the box as a extra feature.

As for monitor I'd say get a gigabyte G27Q It's a great monitor and costs about 300$ and sameish in the uk nowadays. The problem with cheaper monitors in that price range is that they tend to kinda suck at 27inch 1440p with also freesync and there really are only a couple of actually good monitors in the 250$ range which are still a noticeable downgrade from the little more expensive ones.

Asus VG27WQ is also a great option, maybe a little bit better than Gigabyte H27Q.
