MSI B550, can't decide which one to get.

Same price where i live at the moment, which one would you get?

Also is the BIOS support different on those boards, does MSI "favor" one over the other? 

 

Will be paired with a 5800X and 32GB DDR4 3200 CL16 (will be manually tuned)

If they're the same price, then I'd go with the Carbon, otherwise, if the Carbon was more expensive, I'd go with the Edge as the Carbon doesn't really offer anything compelling over the Edge to warrant paying extra for.

No, BIOS would be the same between these two boards. Do keep in mind that you may need to update the BIOS to support the 5800X, though both the Carbon and the Edge have the BIOS flashback feature, meaning you could update the BIOS without needing a CPU installed if needed.
