Ryzen 5 4650G BIOS Update

Hello there,

So I have been wanting a new PC recently, and have been really needing it, but the only factor that was holding me back was the GPU market. So what I have decided to do is do the recommended solution of using integrated graphics with the 4650G. However, the motherboard I'm thinking of getting has support for only 3rd gen Ryzen CPUs out of the box, so what I'm thinking of doing is flashing the motherboard (as its MSI I can use the BIOS flash button) but I'm a bit concerned as to if it would work.

Basically, will a Ryzen 5 4650G work on a B550 board after a BIOS update,
