Windows update really hates excel. Excel is being uninstalled without reason and can't be reinstalled.

Anyway this happens when I open the store:

Clicking on install doesn't do anything. I have waited for 3-4 minutes. I have an m.2 nvme ssd and a relatively fast 100 megabit(actual connection speed) over 5 ghz. It should do something

Fast indeed. Have you tried to do a repair in the office app? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b

My new laptop came oreinstalled with Windows 10 and Office. It updated a few hours ago. Now I cannot see or open excel files. Word and Powerpoint are still there. I reinstalled office by going to the office website. Even after reinstalling, I am unable to find excel in the search menu, Windows start menu and the excel files show no program. I have reinstalled it for the secons time and even restartecd. Still no difference.

Can you go to the folder of the Office applications, where powerpoint and word are? Just to check, it can be installed but the program might not appear in search

That fucking wiped off ALL OFFICE APPLICATIONS. Had to reinstall.

What if you rollback the windows update? That might do the trick

Okey, sometimes the update bugs out and removes shit that isn't suposed to, so a rollback could help out in those cases, keep us updated and good luck
