Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: mainly heavy pc gaming, some streaming/video editing/rendering as well

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): will be playing on 1080p 144hz for now but will eventually buy a new monitor to play on 2K. wanna spend 900-1100 for everything except GPU. i intend to buy an rtx 3070 or 3080 eventually. What i have that can be kept and might be useful for the new build is: NZXT h440 case, RM850 80 plus gold full modular psu, 3 SSDs and 1 HDD. pretty much need to pick mobo/cpu/ram/cooling (never gonna OC most likely)/nvme and maybe case/psu that are compatible to a 3070/3080. About GPU, i'll just buy whatever i find in stock first really

yeah actually i know its way more complicated but right now my current pc is dying and im in a panic mode haha

i'd say max budget is 2,6-2,7k including GPU but really its not like i can pick whatever i want.

i have been actively trying to buy a 3070 or 3080 for months with no luck

i have found a gigabyte 3070 aorus master at an absurd price (1650e) which could do the trick

but i'll have to check for reviews for this specific one

so it would be 1650 + 1k for the rest

also i have to point out i dont care about any RGB shit

just want to run games and do a lot of multitasking smoothly thats all
