my i7 4930k crashes days after i overclock no matter what voltage i use

I'm having trouble overclocking my CPU and I'm just confused because I have tried all voltages that are safe on many frequency's

my CPU speed i want to get is 4000mhz and i have a 650w psu with an rtx 2060 I have watched a lot of videos on the topic but none helped

if you could help that would be much appreciated.

Gonna need a lot more details. Start with your system specifications.

It's possible that your particular CPU won't get there no matter what you do.

There is something called "the silicon lottery" which basically states that just because others get that speed on their 4930k, doesn't mean you will.

This explains it in larger depth:

So rise up, all ye lost ones, as one, we'll claw the clouds

What are the cpu temps, these really matter.

4ghz about 1.28 - 1.30v

4.2 to 4.4ghz about 1.35v

(give or take)

Is the expectations I have for that CPU running 70c or less at load. 80c probably won't be stable for overclocking at these speeds.

- If it ain't broken, don't fix it! - - Your post codes and beep codes in the drop down below -

Spoiler
