you know its bad when ur pc reaches almost 200c playing roblox

LTT_fanboy

i had an old aio pc , dell inspiron 2320 and it sucked for the last year it was used , 6gb of ram , no gpu , roblox got like 20fps on arsenal , i think you get the point , but anyway , it sucked it always overheated , left it running for over 7 days ,  on xtu , on an i3-2120 dual core , and it was TERRIBLE , always overheated to 200c+ playing csgo on 30fps on 720p low , my life was depressing , had no way to cool it down , so i decided to heat it up until it caught fire , so it did but it has a 2,000 rpm fan on it lol it was hot af , i have no point to this story i just thought this would be funny to share.

There is a temperture warning called ProcHot, and there are some overclocking utilities and/or desktop UEFI's (laptops don't support disabling prochot) that allow you to disable the warning. Then you remove the power limit and over volt and you CPU is running hot as fuck.

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

Current setup: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI MPG B550, 2x8GB DDR4-3200, RX 5600 XT (+120 core, +320 Mem), 1TB WD SN550, 1TB Team MP33, 2TB Seagate Barracuda Compute, 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair 4000D Airflow, 650W 80+ Gold. Razer peripherals.

Also have a Alienware Alpha R1: i3-4170T, GTX 860M (≈ a 750 Ti). 2x4GB DDR3L-1600, Crucial MX500

from what you're saying it obviously was hot, but most dell inspirons 2320's came with a i5-2400S which has a thermal shutdown limit at a temp much lower than 200c so you're either throwing numbers around or your monitoring software was having a fit
