Which cooler for R5 3600

Which cooler would you recommend for a Ryzen 5 3600?

 

 

Trying to buy off Amazon, Here's the options I could find.

 

  1. The stock cooler (I heard it's quite loud)
  2. Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 V2 (Red Led)
  3. Deepcool GAMMAXX 400S
  4. Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 GTE V2
  5. Deepcool GAMMAXX C40
  6. CoolerMaster Hyper T4
  7. CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Black Edition
  8. CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO
  9. CoolerMaster Hyper 212 LED
  10. be quiet! Pure Rock 2

I'd go with the Hyper 212 or the Pure Rock, out of the choices. Hard pass on the stock cooler.

Imo you should always try the stock cooler first before buying anything else. Maybe it's not too loud for your taste. It's perfectly fine to cool a 3600.

You can still easily switch your cooler without removing anything from your case.


If you think it's too loud, i'd recommend the Pure Rock 2.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

It mostly comes down to which fan the heatsink uses. From personal experience I would pick the Hyper 212 Black, alternativly the Pure Rock 2 for lowest noise possible. For a budget option, nothing can really compete with the Hyper 212 EVO, but try the stock cooler first.
