computer case Whats this model of this old pc case?

i just builded this pc in 2004 and i dont know what is this model of this case its asus

it's quit dificult to see from the outside . but look for posible stamps from when it was preduced and some times even the comany who manufactured it is usely on the inside of the case and stemped on the metel with ink (usely blue)

There's no Serial Number sticker on it anywhere?

 

Looks like the standard generic cases from the late 90's and early 00's.  Why do you need it identified, I guess is my question.  It's a basic case that needs to be replaced really.

Yeah, we're looking at the case.  So no sticker or other identifying markings in the case at all?  Inside, on the bottom?  Can you post more pics of the interior and underside?

looking over the case. it kind of looks like an old gateway computer tower and it says "powered by asus" on the side so i am guessing it has or had an asus motherboard in it not that its an asus computer.

yeah I very much doubt the case itself was sold by Asus.

well asus started in 1989 so it is possible it actually was but i highly doubt it.

Yeah, but to my knowledge they've only dipped their toe in the case business here and there... funky stuff like the Vento in the mid 2000's and the Helios now.

we are all probably overthinking this. it might be an old windows or apple case from the 90s or 2000s.

can you provide more photos like of the back and any other stickers that might have survived thru the years?

the asus is just a case badge sticker. it be hard to find what the case is. only options is for some one to tell you what it is. my questions is why do you want to no?

i kind of looked into it a little and this topic has been double posted with either this or the other being the second time it was posted. any as i said i looked into it a little and this case kind of looks like an old apevia case to me as it was the closest i could find at the time.

ok. i was mainly trying to figure out if the components were original or not as it would allow for a better narrow down in my opinion as i am not finding anything on it other than it kind of looks like an old apevia case but its slightly different.

Probably not what you want to hear, but it's really just a mass produced generic case from the late 90's.  

 

Hope someone can actually pinpoint it, but I highly doubt anyone can.

 

Maybe @TVwazhere can shed some light, he knows cases very well.

Unfortunately I'm not as good with the earlier (pre 2010) cases, a better bet in this case would be @jonnyGURU or anyone who's been in the business since the turn of the century

I doubt this case is from the early 1900's, but if you think JonnyGuru can recognize it from his childhood...  cool

Nope.  Even when I was a tech in 2001/2002 when this case was made, we never sold "razor blade cases".  Only Antec, Enlight, Aopen, etc.  This looks like something the guys down the street sold for $20 WITH the power supply (and would then RMA the motherboard a year later because the PSU killed the motherboard).
