Commander Pro Fan port suddenly died

Hello there, I am very new when it comes to posting on this forum so if I make any mistakes please guide me

Problem: A fan port on Corsair Commander Pro suddenly stopped working while it has been fine for 20 days

I finished my build around 20+ days ago, my rig has 10 fans including the 3 fans on my 360mm radiator for the cpu cooler. I am using a Lian Li galahad 360 with its included 3 way splitter to control the three fans through the commander pro. While it is said by corsair that the CoPro doesn't supports splitters, I have seen it working just fine on most systems. I had the radiator fans connected to one of the six pwn fan ports on CoPro and I suddenly stopped working. At firdt I thought it might be a problem due to iCue as it has been a little finicky from the start but any restarts didn't work. Now that port seems to be dead as it is not detecting any fans from that port.

I have now connected the rad fans through the Mobo.

Is there anything that I should check or is RMA my only option?

Also, another port of CoPro is connected with a 3 way splitter so should I consider swapping it out?

You possibly overdrew what the port could provide, but I don't know the per port power availability nor what fans you're using and their power requirements.  Might have burned it out?  I dunno.  If you mention you had a splitter connected in the first place, they might deny the RMA for that reason.

Can you plug one fan into that port, set it to 100% via the iCUE software and see if it works?

10 fans

Max. power per fan header (combined) : 1A per port (4.5A combined)

So if you fill all 6 fan ports the total draw cannot exceed 4.5A.

Not sure how much the initial power surge counts against that 4.5A.

I'm using 6 Corsair LL120 and 1 ML120 along with 3 galahad included fans. Note that the port that died had the Galahad fans connected.

I tried resetting the CoPro but it didn't work.

I tried switching the fans but it was just simply not detecting anything, showing it as 0 rpm so I think it might have died

I see, that might have been the issue, however the 3 x LL120 I'm using have a peak 0.3 A draw so I thought it should be fine but I guess I'll have to use either another CoPro or just the motherboard ports

You are 2,62a out of 4,5a
You can have max 3 fans per channel
You have 1 Channel dead
Channel X1 3LL
Channel X2 3LL
Channel X3 1ML
Channel X4 3Gala
Channel XDead

or RMA
