Aspect Ratio Calculator Question and some monitor question

Hi guys, i have an Exam Tomorrow. so i have some questions i cant understand :

  

why  the width  x pixel aspect ratio?? not the Hight ?

and where did the 4 :3 comes from?> what is the calculation here?

 

seconded questions 

i cant understand the 16:9 

and how 1080p can be in very big screens ? 

the monitor picture shows that 4k = bigger screen than 1080 p , but there is very big screens with 1080p ?

does size = higher resolution ?>

or just the pixel shape changes??

if the pixel shape change , how it saves the picture quality ?

 

third question :

what are these 0.9, 1.2 , 1.0, 1.33 means and where they come from ?

What we call resolution is nothing more than the number of pixels along each axis. You can make a 10 cm 2160p screen or a 10 m 480p screen if you want. A bigger screen at the same resolution will need bigger physical pixels. A bigger screen at the same physical pixel size will have a higher resolution. That figure just illustrates the relative difference in resolution. If you take a 4096x2160 screen and display a 1280x720 picture on it, it will have the size of the gray rectangle.

The resolution is just how tall it is. If it's 1080 pixels tall, then it's 1080p.

The aspect ratio is the ratio of pixels from top:side. So 1080p 16:9, you divide 1080 by 9, then multiply by 16, that's 1920. So 16:9 1080p is 1920x1080.

 

 

Pixels are not a set size. They can be giant, or tiny.
