Baldur's Gate 2 - take Sarevok?

Straight to the point. This is my first Throne of Ball playthrough ever.

 

My team consist of:

 

- Me - Figther

- Minsc - Ranger (although, his taunts about his fucking hamster are making me crazy)

- Anomen - Cleric/Figther

- Jaheira - Druid

- Nalia - Thief/Mage (high level)

- Imoen - Thief/Mage (also high level)

 

Just 5min in, and i stumbled upon Sarevok, it seems he just refuses to fucking die. He wants to join and get along with me.

I saved and took him for 2min to see what he's packing. A warrior  str. 18/00 (noice) 

 

Roughly everyone in my team has 26-27 level.

 

Is there any RP advantage in keeping him or should i keep my consistency and move along without him.

One more thing about Minsc, i like him, he's iconic but a dumb dumb. And this fucking hamster.......
