500$ c100 mark i.

Hey. Looking around on ebay and found a 500$ c100. Should I trust it? Cause I want to get a c100 but Its old and a point and shoot I was recommended but I want a video first camera too.

 

Edit: I have a canon m50 right now and a c100 would be nice considering I want to step up my game in video I cant afford newer cameras like the eos rp. So I would take a older camera but its still good cause I usually do short films with my pals. And we sometimes sell them so I want nice 1080p will it work on efs lenses?

They also scoffed when they saw I had a canon m50 (my client)

C100 mk1 is a hard recommendation to say yes to even at 500$
does it have the dual pxiel AF upgrade?
you'd be much better off with a used GH4 or a decent camcorder. (not from JVC)

yes it does have dpaf and I dont want to go away from canon.

there isn't anything in canons lineup that makes sense even used because canon gimps the output
even at 500$ for it. it shots meh 1080p low bitrate, even with say a used atomos star 2/atomos Ninja Blade for 200$. its not going to look that much better

GH4 is about it.

that starts to get you into pocket4, Zcam, decent camcorders
maybe the only option under 1k is a blackmagic cinema camera 2.5k or 4k but those need some rigging

nope, cinema camera means 0 AF unless its a canon or a newer sony

Z CAM E2-M4 is the lowest I'd go from them
the other option for a bit less is the BMPCC4k

I can't find a list of the the older cameras Z cam made so its hard to recommend any of them
