What's a good budget Intel CPU for recording and gaming?

So I currently have a i5 4690k, I'm not very proud to say that. I've been wanting a good CPU budget CPU that is good for recording and gaming, any suggestions?

No idea what your budget is, Budget is very vague. Currently the best value CPU on the cheaper side is the 11400 from intel

Really it depends on how budget.

11400f is the best for a budget of about 800$ for a pc (would be like 600$ Without the gpupocalypse). A r3 3100 (if you can get one is the best of the best for “I still want a standard desktop line of cpu but don’t want to spend much at all”. An Athlon 3000g is the absolute lowest cost cpu you can get that’s good.
