New Build Follow up for question for Davinchi resolve

Hi

I got some advise yesterday on my  build and made some changes but had one follow up question. I think I can add another NVME SSD to this model instead of the Crucial MX500 and not sure if it will even be noticeable since he gpu does a lot of the work?   I wold like to keep all my editing on a separate drive. Plan to edit 4K, H264 video format, with Davinchi Resolve studio version.

Thanks

It's a relatively small increase in price to get a much faster drive. So in my opinion it is well worth the cost.

There are also NVME drives that are cheaper than the MX500, which would still be faster. The Rocket Q is quite good though for the marginal increase in cost.

Id stay away from the qlc drives here due to poor endurance. If you use one drive for projects, and one for boot+cache/proxies/optimized media, you don't want qlc here.

Do you care about color? If you do, Id get a seperate display for the viewer, and a blackmagic card for driving that display.

So I bought most of my parts except my CPU (holding out a bit longer for a Ryzen 9 5900 closer to retail) and the CPU cooler

I am reading that the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 56.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler won't fit mounted on the top in my case so I am looking for alternatives that I can mount on the top.   The Corsair 4000X case has three fans in the front and the RTX 3080 FTW has 3 fans, So I want to mount above the MOBO.

Thanks
