Issue with Elgato HD60 S

Received my Elgato capture card today. I set it up as instructed, and when I started up my Switch, the screen was WAY darker than it should be. The capture itself is fine, however. I'm not sure what I did wrong, or how to fix it. In the image I've attached, the monitor on the left is the capture (how it should look), and the monitor on the right is my main monitor that I play on (WAY too dark). I tried tinkering with my monitor settings and my Switch settings, but nothing worked. There is an option within the Elgato software that actually lets me change the brightness on my main screen, but if I do that, the capture then becomes too bright.
