1440p 144hz (or above) 27" (or above) Recommendations

Rowan88

Hi,

I am going to be upgrading my old gaming PC (once the GPU situation relaxes) but I was going to upgrade my monitor in the meantime.

I have a iiyama 24.5" blackhawk 1080p 75hz at the moment.

I was looking to jump to 1440p and at least 27" but the main feature was at least 144hz.

A few I seen was:
Iiyama G-Master GB2760QSU-B1 27" Black, 2560 x 1440, 1ms, 144hz

Acer VG271UPbmiipx 144Hz 27in 2560 x 1440 IPS
MSI Optix G27CQ4 27 inch, Quad HD, 1ms, 165Hz

Gigabyte G27QC

Can anyone give recommendations on these or any others. Looking to spend around £300.

Cheers

This is in the US, but I am fairly certain it should be going for about the same price in wherever you are that has pounds too. Great monitor, factory color calibrated, 1440p 144hz, and some extra features for only $299. Search the model up to see if your local retailers carry it.

Gigabyte M27Q IPS and all. 170Hz

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/k8GnTW/gigabyte-m27q-270-2560x1440-170-hz-monitor-m27q

Just a tad over budget though.

This looks like a winner but what is the difference between this and the G27QC?? (is it just the extra 5hz?)

Also noticed its IPS compared to VA. I assume IPS is better aslong as its 1ms response?

The rest are good choices but the links are for US and im in the UK so the price is changing drastically lol.

I don't mind spending a little over £300 as long as its worth the extra.

Right now im still rocking a RX580 Nitro+ 8GB but once I can get a new GPU I will be spending minimum £350 on one anyway (3060/3060ti/5700)

M27Q has IPS panel versus G27QC VA panel.

Difference has been detailed in another topic:

And there's a direct comparison of those monitors on Rtings.com site, where they do very thorough reviews/tests:

I edit my posts more often than not

Thanks for all the replies.

GIGABYTE M27Q seems the main one for £330 but I also can get this one.

MSI Optix G273QF for £315.

How do they compare?
